Television broadcasting of the future
Digital television broadcasting in the highest quality in the DVB-T2 standard. Free broadcasting for all
A state-of-the-art DVB-T2 broadcasting standard, introduced nationwide in the Czech Republic, will make it possible for you to further expand your programming offer, offering your viewers a number of new extra services, including hybrid HbbTV broadcasting, known in this country as the red button.
More than TV in the highest quality possible
Environmentally friendly TV
By its very nature, digital television broadcasting is significantly more environmentally friendly than analogue broadcasting. We choose our technologies not only on the basis of their parameters, but also based on how environmentally friendly they are. Furthermore, viewers only need one antenna to receive TV signal from all our multiplexes.

More detailed information
- More efficient use of the frequency spectrum: digital television broadcasting allows more efficient use of the frequency spectrum than traditional analogue broadcasting. This means that a digital signal can carry more information on the same number of frequencies.
- It is less energy intensive: digital transmission is more energy efficient than analogue transmission, resulting in a reduction in power consumption in signal transmission. This helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the overall ecological footprint.
- It uses better compression technology: digital TV signal can be compressed and decompressed more efficiently, reducing the volume of data needed for its transmission. This results in a smaller data stream and thus lower power consumption during transmission.
- It offers better picture and sound quality: digital broadcasting makes it possible to achieve better picture and sound quality, which can lead to a longer lifetime for TV sets. Less frequent purchases of new equipment and disposal of old equipment help reduce the volume of electronic waste.
- Lower infrastructure requirements: thanks to more efficient use of the frequency spectrum and digital compression technologies, less broadcasting equipment and infrastructure is needed. This can reduce the adverse environmental impact associated with the construction and operation of transmission towers.
