I have been working at CRA for two years.

In association with my colleagues, I put together regular monthly, quarterly, and annual, as well as ad hoc reports. We take part in budget drafting, its analysis and evaluation. During the company’s audit, I work closely with the auditors. My responsibilities also include communication with banks and the organisation of events during which I present the company’s financial results and strategies to banking institutions.

Before joining CRA, I worked in audit for the “Big Four” for a long time. CRA, even though it is a far smaller company compared to a large audit firm, offers the opportunity to continuously develop and to make progress, while giving you time for your family, hobbies, and interests. At the same time, it is a field that has always been and will be in demand. It is stable, yet sexy. It is constantly developing and looking for opportunities to grow. Employees always come first. There is a great team – both management and staff – who stick together and support each other. Communication with management works as it should.

I have been working at CRA since August 2019.

I am responsible for the internal IT department. I spend most of my time coordinating various activities and coming up with suggestions for improvement.

The company’s scope is great – on the one hand, we do big and interesting projects – development, SAP, MS cloud, and many others, but at the same time, people here can pursue their careers and have a big impact on how the company operates. Thanks to that, there are a lot of smart and independent people working here.

Why work for us? Great people, that is what they say everywhere, but here, it is true.  And there are interesting projects and a unique environment of transmitters and data centres.

I make sure our facilities work smoothly, take care of cooling and regular maintenance, and ensure mandatory inspections of our equipment. I am in contact with tenants and companies during the construction of technologies at our facilities.

I have been working at CRA for 8 years.

I first started as a developer on a brand-new add-on product. It gradually expanded to include a complete infrastructure and now I am managing a team that maintains this infrastructure and develops new functionalities.

The company is not afraid to develop entirely new and unexplored technologies like HbbTV, OTT, IoT, AI, and many more that are hiding behind these trendy acronyms. And that is what I like most about CRA. What is more, it is able to translate them into functional products that are used by millions of people every day. From top to bottom, the entire company is full of tech-savvy people who understand what they do.

I have been with CRA since September 2022

My job is leading a test team and planning and carrying out functional tests. I also design and implement new testing processes. Actually, I am involved in everything that has to do with testing.

There are several reasons I work here. The first is the interesting work, of which there is always plenty. Another important reason is the great team and, above all, the possibility to apply oneself and develop, and the great support we get from our superiors.

To me, CRA is a company that values its people and knows how to show them appreciation, and working here is meaningful.

As a product manager, I strive to develop IoT services that can be scaled to every business.

What I like is that there isn’t an atmosphere of fear here and that everyone can apply themselves and develop as they need. Even when a person comes up with a seemingly unrealistic idea, he may be able to bring it to life.

If a person tries hard, the company will not want to get rid of him. Everyone is seen as an individual, not as a resource and a line in a spreadsheet, as is the case in big corporations.

I strive to make sure that our systems support our business activities and provide the necessary level of detail for analysis and reporting. Currently, our biggest project is the reimplementation of the SAP system, where my task is to coordinate the requirements of individual departments and make sure they support and complement each other. Another area I am responsible for is the gradual introduction of process management, especially with a view to the measurement of the performance of our activities so that we can tell whether we are improving or not.

What I appreciate most about my job is the friendly working environment where everyone strives to meet our main objective – to deliver a quality service to the customer. You will not encounter the usual corporate obstacles here, such as information barriers between divisions, departments, or even organisational levels. Open communication and a focus on the common goal are strongly encouraged by the top management. This helps to ensure that when you are working on a problem, you can approach anyone any time and ask for help and they will try to do their best to accommodate you, if at all possible.

I recently celebrated my first anniversary at CRA.

I take care of all the HR-related matters for the teams entrusted to me. I make sure that we recruit a new colleague, provide them with everything that is required for they initial training and for fitting in with the company. We want them to like working here so much that they do not wish to leave. Our team is also responsible for staff remuneration and appraisal and for preparing the staff budget.

What I appreciate most about working at CRA is the normal and helpful people who work here! I like  when my colleagues from the field talk about working on transmitters, when an IoT expert helpfully and in simple terms explains how sensors work, when we talk openly about how things work during interviews, when a colleague notices that I drink coffee from capsules and includes me in the ordering group, when people in a department care about each other and take someone whose closest colleagues are not around to lunch. And most of all, I love our HR team; they are people you simply want to meet.

Why work for us? We have unique technologies, are a company brimming with experts, and we can learn a lot from one another. We have a friendly and supportive team. We have table football in the kitchenette and we often go out together after work.

You may know us as a technology company that delivers quality media content to its customers and provides unique services, such as streaming, OTT, HbbTV, or the popular ‘Red Button’, on the Czech market and beyond. However, our portfolio is much broader than that. We are a leader in the field of virtualisation technologies. We offer professional cloud services and hosting, have our own data centres, and are one of the few in our market to develop IoT solutions. In short: we translate technological trends into innovative media, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure services.

We are part of Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited, a large family engaged with the core infrastructure of the digital economy and operating in the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America.

We succeeded in the Pluxee Employer of the Year 2024 competition and won second place in the category of companies with up to 500 employees in the Prague Main City region.
