MEDICA WATCH is a wireless thermometer and an application that evaluates temperature conditions in refrigerators where drugs and medicinal products are stored. The thermometer with external probes makes routine temperature monitoring easier. It is particularly useful for monitoring the temperature in rooms and refrigerators holding drugs and medicinal products or for monitoring places where various samples (e.g., tissue samples) are stored and which are subject to SÚKL inspections. The readings from individual probes can be clearly displayed, saved, and further processed in the user application. The app also features a number of other useful services, e.g., alerts (alarm) when the maximum set temperature is exceeded or generation of an audit report on temperature behaviour.
In terms of devices, the solution consists of a central “Dragino” unit, to which the probes are connected and which communicates with the MEDICA WATCH application. The central unit only transmits the digital data read, without interfering with the values obtained. It is powered by a battery that ensures up to five years of operation of the device.
Digital probes calibrated by an accredited laboratory are used to measure temperature. The probes are connected to the communication unit via a flat cable which is suitable for installation in a refrigerator, for example.
The MEDICA WATCH user application works with the data. In addition to displaying and storing temperatures, it also monitors temperature ranges and automatically alerts the user via SMS and email if the temperature is exceeded. Data exports can be used during SÚKL inspections.
The central unit has one port for connecting an external calibrated probe, which is included in the package. Key parameters:

External calibrated temperature probes are designed for measurements in refrigerators and rooms where drugs and medicinal products are stored. The probe is connected to the central unit via a connector you know from headphones. The calibration is two-point and is performed by the accredited Scanlab calibration laboratory; a calibration report is included with the delivery. Key parameters:
