A local network solution combining the Ethernet and Wi-Fi technology
A strong signal and full coverage in offices and other large and segmented spaces, such as hotels, guest houses, and shopping and business centres. A large number of mobile devices can be connected to the network.
A network that adapts
Wi-Fi as a place for your advertising and marketing
With our Wi-Fi network, you will get access to a portal where you can set up a welcome page with your own content. For example, if you are a hotel, you can post a link to your new menu, information about discounts, or a short survey to get to know your customers. The portal will tell you from which devices guests connect most often or when the network is busiest, giving you additional useful information for your analysis.
What our clients say
Components of the Managed W(LAN) service
Additional useful features making the use of our Wi-Fi easier
- There is no need for power supply
Access points (APs) are normally powered by a standard Power over Ethernet (PoE) data cable. - Choose who will have access to what
You can set your own network identifiers (SSIDs) for different groups of users and devices, such as guests, employees, or sensors. - User authentication
There are different methods of user identity authentication available.
We hold the requisite certificates and security is our top priority
- Physical and cyber security
Our requirements for ensuring physical as well as cyber security of the services we provide are uncompromising. - Proven technologies
We employ trained CRA staff and offer only tested and proven technologies from renowned manufacturers to provide our services and ensure cyber security.
- ANSI-TIA942
The technology is operated from an ANSI-TIA942 certified DC TOWER data centre - Common Criteria Certification for Information Technology (IT) Security (ISO/IEC 15408)
Certification at CC EAL 4+ level - ISO 9001
Quality management systems - ISO 14001
Environmental management systems - ISO 19011
Standard for the certification of internal auditors - ISO/IEC 20 000-1
Information technologies – Service management system requirements - ISO/IEC 27001
Information security management systems - ISO/IEC 27017
Information technologies – Security techniques – A set of guidelines for cloud environment security and for minimising the potential risk of security incidents - ISO/IEC 27018
Information technologies – Security techniques – A set of procedures for the protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in public clouds acting as PII processors - SOC Type 1 and Type 2
SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 certifications, issued in accordance with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards and requirements, cover information management and security in organizations - ISO 50 001
Energy management systems - PCI-DSS
Compliance with the requirements of PCI-DSS for data centre operators - NBÚ
Certificate for access to classified information up to the classification level ‘CONFIDENTIAL’ - GDPR compliance
The infrastructure is fully compliant with GDPR requirements
- Monitoring and supervision
We continuously monitor all active network infrastructure features. - Monthly statistics
You will receive statistics on the availability and utilisation of individual features, port utilisation, and data transmission volumes every month. - High level of availability
Availability guaranteed by an SLA. - State-of-the-art technology
We use equipment from manufacturers who are among the leaders of the network technology market.
Custom-designing a Wi-Fi network for you
- First, we will determine what the state of your current network is and what your requirements are.
- Next, we will visit the place where you need to have the new infrastructure installed and examine all the things that impact the resulting quality of the service – for example, the placement of the equipment (AP), damping by construction materials, nearby networks, and possible sources of interference.
- Then, we will propose a design of the Wi-Fi network and test whether the coverage and performance of the service correspond to the assignment.
- The outcome is a clear report with the proposed design and recommendations.
More detailed information
The creation of a wired local area network (LAN) that comprises cable technologies, i.e., metallic or fibre-optic cables (Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet). The operation includes management and administration of the network, which is why this type of network is referred to as ‘managed’.
The creation of a wireless local area network (LAN) that allows devices to connect wirelessly using Wi-Fi technology through so-called Access Points (APs). A Wi-Fi network is very often an extension of a local area network composed of cable technologies, i.e., metallic or fibre-optic cables. The operation includes management and administration of the network, which is why this type of network is referred to as ‘managed’.
The service includes design, physical installation, configuration, and commissioning. The responsibility for the operation and level of management then varies depending on the service option, i.e., whether you leave the management of the service to us (managed service) or manage the service using your own resources (unmanaged service).
Unlike with the Wi-Fi infrastructure service, we will also take care of your operational requirements related to the running of the service. As a standard, we will devote two hours per month to this.
The service can be implemented both with a central controller that takes care of communication between access points (APs) and serves as a firewall, or without a controller. To ensure that SLA requirements are met, the controller operates in a high availability mode and all access points (APs) are connected to it in a secured mode.
