The foundation of fast storage is a high-performance cloud-based NAS (Network Attached Storage) store. You connect to it via a standard NFS or SMB protocol, making sure you can access your data and work with it at any time.
We use the S3 Compatible API for object storage. You can also use the Swift object-oriented approach.
For example, a service like NAS Backup is suitable for storing data that is not used frequently, while the extremely powerful NAS File System service is available for immediate operations. It has such a low latency that it can use application data directly in real time.
With our digital archive, you get extremely well secured storage for large volumes of data for up to decades. It is suitable for data that you do not need to keep on hand at all times.
Data is first stored in our NAS network store and from there, it is transferred to tape systems and stored in two locations. Furthermore, you can store one of the backup copies on tape directly on your premises (e.g., in a vault).
