Measures to ensure service delivery adopted with regard to the risks arising from the spread of COVID-19
We would like to inform you about our preparedness for current situation with regard to the risks arising from the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our company is part of the critical infrastructure of the state, which implies certain obligations and commitments.
We have obligations towards you, our customers, so we have undertaken a number of measures to ensure the smooth delivery of our services.
In addition to measures taken by most institutions and corporations in the Czech Republic ordered by the State Security Council (establishment of internal emergency staff, reporting obligation when leaving the place of residence, obligation of having the devices necessary for working from home, cancellation of public events, business trips abroad, collective training courses, conferences, all until further notice, etc.) we have adopted and improved our emergency plans and measures considering the risks arising from the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic as follows:
- We have identified the company's key emergency employees.
- We reduced the risks of unavailability of emergency warehouses in isolated agglomerations, contractor warehouses and associated warehouses by verifying and replenishing spare parts inventory at individual locations.
- We continuously consult with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic on the risks of unavailability of technologies in isolated agglomerations for service intervention and according to their response, the quarantine measures in potentially affected areas are not expected yet.
- We have verified the number of fuel ration cards allocated to our company in the event of fuel supply outages, thus reducing the risk of the fuel unavailability.
- We are addressing the risk of a worsened security situation with our own resources (supplier - security agency) and in case of further deterioration with an impact on the operation of critical infrastructure elements we will deal with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the form of protection by the Security Corps of the Czech Republic,
- We reduce the risk of a shortage of employees by providing home-office and territorial departments of key workplaces meaning that we have added more backup workplaces - switching from the “Cold Site” mode to the “Hot Site” mode and equipped a new substitute workplace of the supervisory center.
- We eliminate the risk of customer´s payment outages and monitor our cash flow on a daily basis.
We believe that the measures mentioned above will continue to ensure the smooth delivery of the services we provide.
