CRA launches new sports channel Sporty TV
CRA stared broadcasting a new TV channel in multiplex 23 of the digital terrestrial television on 1 March in the afternoon. Sporty TV, a TV station focused mainly on indoor sports such as volleyball, floorball, and handball, as well as women's sports, will start its programme.
The new Czech TV station Sporty TV became the 11th TV channel in multiplex 23. Its launch demonstrates the interest of broadcasters in digital terrestrial television, which is attractive to viewers and offers the only option for free TV reception.
‘We are delighted to announce the launch of another digital terrestrial TV channel. And I would also like to indicate that we are not done with innovations in this area yet’, says CRA CEO Miloš Mastník. ‘In the near future, we want to improve the connection of terrestrials with the online world, and viewers can look forward to other new TV stations’, adds Miloš Mastník.
Sporty TV started broadcasting on Friday 1 March at 15:00 in full HD resolution.
