CRA is investing millions in advanced DDoS protection using technology from NetScout Systems
CRA has announced a substantial investment in the advanced DDoS protection technology from NetScout Systems. This new project confirms CRA's commitment to protecting its infrastructure while strengthening the security services offered to partners and end customers.
‘Cyber-attacks are becoming more sophisticated, with their frequency rising every year. Today's targets include not only large multinational corporations but also any company operating in the digital world. This threat is far from theoretical; annual estimates of global damage from cyberattacks continue to escalate. Even DDoS attacks are evolving, with their numbers more than doubling each year and their scale increasing significantly. The most common attacks today are so-called “dynamic multi-vector attacks”, which adapt vectors and methodologies to constantly avoid existing DDoS defences’, said Petr Možiš, CRA's Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
NetScout's DDoS technology represents a cutting-edge solution that will enable CRA to detect, monitor, and protect its infrastructure from malicious network traffic, including DDoS attacks more effectively more efficiently. This technology is a critical component of CRA's defence strategy against cyber threats.
‘We are happy to announce our investment, worth significantly more than 10 million CZK, in anti-DDoS technology and cooperation with NetScout’, added Petr Možiš. ‘As a supplier of critical infrastructure, we constantly seek new ways to better protect our own infrastructure and provide our customers with safe, reliable, and modern services’.
NetScout's anti-DDoS technology offers a comprehensive set of features, including advanced network traffic analysis, DDoS attack detection and filtering, real-time traffic monitoring, and dynamic adaptation to evolving threats. This technology will be integrated into CRA's internal infrastructure to ensure the security and stability of its network and related customer services. The DDoS protection service using the new NetScout technology will provide enhanced protection against volumetric and application attacks and will be available to CRA end customers in the second half of this year.
